5 Amazing Rosé Cocktails That Will Have You Thinking Pink

Rosé is the new pink. And no matter what your age, gender, or occupation, there's something about this delicate wine that makes you feel like a girl (or guy) gone wild.

Whether you're looking to shake up your usual drink rotation or just want to enjoy some delicious cocktails that will make you feel pretty on a weekend night, these Rosé-inspired drinks are sure to please.

1. Spicy Spritzer

The Spicy Spritzer is a fun and funky twist on the pink wine spritzer, and it packs a punch thanks to the addition of chilli and/or jalapeño pepper. But despite its heat, this drink is well balanced due to the simple and delicate manner in which the ingredients are infused.

Whether you're looking for a refreshing summer cocktail or an exciting winter warmer, we think you'll love this spicy spritzer recipe!


2 chillies

45mL Citrus Vodka

90mL Rosé

a splash of soda water or ginger ale

an orange slice to garnish


Firstly a couple hours before you're going to make the cocktails infuse your chillies with your citrus vodka for around 2 hours (Learn how to infuse your spirits here). Then simply pour your chilli-infused citrus vodka and wine into a tumbler glass filled with fresh ice.

Top with your soda or ginger ale, stir and garnish with an orange slice.


2. Raspberry Lemonade Sangria

The Raspberry Lemonade Sangria is a super easy to make in bulk sangria that will truly impress your guests with how fresh and tasty it is. When it comes to rosé, you can't go wrong with any of the options out there however the book recommends a white zinfandel and we tend to agree.

If you're looking for something special, try making your own lemonade and simple syrup from scratch. This really is what makes this sangria so special. Not only does it give you more control over the ingredients and flavours, but it also saves you money. Plus, who doesn't love a good homemade sangria?


360mL Lemonade

750mL Rosé (1 bottle)

250g fresh raspberries

2 lemons, sliced

60mL simple syrup (learn how to make one here)

360mL ginger ale

extra lemon slices and raspberries to garnish


Mix your lemonade with your rosé, raspberries, lemon slices and simple syrup in a large jug and refrigerate overnight. Just before serving top with your ginger ale and serve over fresh ice.

Garnish each glass with your lemon slices and fresh raspberries.


3. The Frozé

The froze is quickly becoming a classic cocktail in the frozen drinks sphere the world over. The drink is easy to make and can be enjoyed by all. Whether you are at a party or just want to enjoy a refreshing poolside drink, the froze is perfect.

Whilst you need a blender on hand for this cocktail the investment is definitely worth it as you'll be sipping Frozé slushies all year long.


330g strawberries

150g ice

750mL Rosé (1 bottle)

2 tbsp white granulated sugar

extra strawberries to garnish


Put your strawberries and ice in a blender and blitz lightly. Add the rosé and sugar and blend until smooth. You may need to add more ice for your preferred consistency and sugar for your preferred level of sweetness.

You can also put the remaining slushy back in your freezer to use for your next drink, it's just a blend away.


4. La Rosa Paloma

This would have to be my favourite from the book. It's a dress up on an original Paloma cocktail with some rosé and strawberries. This drink is amazing and perfect for summer.

The grapefruit and strawberries are balanced perfectly, with the rosemary adding a delicious fragrance and highlighting the blend of citrus and sweetness that explodes in your mouth.


15mL lime juice

2 strawberries, sliced

45mL Tequila blanco

60mL Rosé

90mL Grapefruit sparkling water/soda

Slice of grapefruit and sprig of rosemary to garnish


Muddle your strawberries and lime juice in the bottom of your glass. Add fresh ice, your tequila and wine, then top off with your sparkling water. Garnish with your rosemary and grapefruit.

I subbed the rosemary garnish for a jalapeño garnish to add little spice!


5. Rosé Sour

The Rosé Sour turns the classic whisky sour on its head and transforms this classic cocktail into a whole new experience. A smooth Irish whiskey and a sweet Rosé set the base, while the sour citrus is offset by a thyme infused syrup. 

Egg or no egg this sour is a soon to be classic in my eyes.


15mL thyme syrup (learn how to make your own here)

1 tsp yellow chartreuse

1 egg white (can use aquafaba instead or just leave out)

45mL Irish Whiskey

30mL Sweet Rosé

30mL lemon juice 

2 dashes of aromatic bitters

Lemon slice to garnish


begin by infusing your simple syrup with a few sprigs of thyme (learn how to here). Coat the inside of your tumbler glass with chartreuse. Shake your egg white in a dry shaker to break it up for 10 seconds before adding ice and all other ingredients. Then shake vigorously for about 30 seconds. Strain into your tumbler and garnish with your lemon. You can also add a dash of bitters for appearances.
