|Aroma & Palate||Spicy with dark fruit and liquorice|
|Style||Tall, dark and handsome|
An inky-black and powerful Malbec, with dark fruit mellowed just a little by oak and some liquorice or aniseed to back it up. This one’s the “Reserve” Malbec, one of two that Eldredge offer and offers subtle but textured tannin and a real leather-armchair sort of refined luxury.
A few selected barrels were Reserved of the Malbec. It looked so fantastic in barrel that we had to release it to the public.
An exciting wine that we think has great cellaring potential.
‘Mysterious dark berries and forbidden spices, give this wine an intense flavour and an elegant finish. An exciting new release.’
Awarded a Silver at the International Malbec Competition in France, the only Australian Malbec to place.
