Kilikanoon Prodigal Grenache Clare Valley – First made back in 1997 and still definitely one of the sentimental favourites in our Kilikanoon portfolio, the Prodigal continues to set the standard for Clare Valley old vine Grenache. This wine was produced as a blend, the fruit sourced from two different sixty four-year-old vineyards in the renowned Clare Valley wine region.
Each parcel of grapes was separately vinified, basket pressed and matured in hogsheads of seasoned French oak for a period of sixteen months. The wine was bottled without fining or filtering.
