Winemakers Comments

This aromatic wine has great balance and generous flavour typical of this variety grown in the Clare Valley. Fermentation in new French oak has added complexity to the grassy and plush stone fruit characters of the Semillon. The palate is textural and rich thanks to extended lees contact, without residual sweetness and has a long lingering finish.

About the Winery

Since the 1980s, partners Tim Adams and Pam Goldsack have collaborated with the finest Australian growers and winemakers to produce wine for both major market players and their own label. Under the Tim Adams label, they’ve released a consistent stream of well-loved Rieslings in the classic Clare Valley style and bold Shirazes.

The business is ever-growing, and recently purchased 80ha of vineyard to further their operation.

Bay of Stones Chardonnay

I did order this Chardonnay a few years ago now.
I find this current version is a lighter wine. It is a good lunch wine.
I don’t know if I would order it again. I’ll have to think about it.

Bay of Stones chardonnay is a gem

I wondered what I was going to get for $11 a bottle, but it was a pleasant surprise. Must admit its quite a good drop and when you consider the price, it’s a great drop
