From The Winemaker
Handpicked, destemmed and basket pressed old vine Shiraz fruit. Intense mulberry flavours with textured ripe, rich tannins. Decant this wine to open up the bouquet and enjoy its blackberry aromatics.
This wine is produced off our organic old vine Shiraz, planted in 1968. Hand picked and destemmed, basket pressed and aged in old French oak for 3 months.

About the Winery
Without question one of the most exciting and progressive producers in recent times hailing from the Hunter Valley. In addition Usher Tinkler own some superb vineyards in Pokolbin, over 60 hectares in fact.
Usher is the third in the line of 3 Usher’s, a true family name something I can’t help love especially due to my wanting to break out the album 8701 every time we talk.
The family can truly claim their connection to the land with Usher’s grandfather working as a dairyman, his father as a cattleman and now Usher as a vigneron and winemaker.

19 Crimes Red Blend has been our favorite winter red for a number of years. Don't buy it if you like powerful red wines. Smooth drinking similar to the best Merlot's. Ladies love it.
